This forum is appropriate for anyone working in the field of substance abuse or with youth, including community prevention specialists, teachers, counselors, administrators, faith community partners, healthcare or treatment providers, law enforcement, and public health staff.
Objectives
Attendees will be able to:
- identify patterns in prescription and OTC drug abuse by frequency, gender, age group and race
- identify the symptoms of intoxication and withdrawal from the three common categories of abused prescription medications
- gain knowledge into prevention strategies specific for prescription medications

Registration Fee: $20.00
Continental Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Participants must register at least five days prior to the forum they will attend. There will be no on-site registration. If, after you register, you find you cannot attend, someone else from your organization may attend in your place, provided you inform MPRC in advance. Your non-refundable registration fee of $20 covers program materials, continental breakfast and lunch.
